FRC'S WOMEN OF THE WATERSHED

The Women of the Watershed met in August and September. In August, we celebrated Adrian Buff of Grison Dairy and Creamery, a beginning farmer whose Swiss-style artisan cheeses won fans from all of us who sampled! We are delighted to report that FEAST magazine has noticed Adrian too. Read more here.

You can purchase Grison Dairy's Grisonthaler cheese (a hard-rind, washed variety aged 3 months) and his Mutschli cheese (a creamy variety aged one month) in Ava at Ava Beverage, at The Little Farm Store just off Hwy. 60 at the Cedar Gap turnoff; at Mama Jean's locations in Springfield, MO, and at Local Harvest in St. Louis.

In our Sept. meeting we discussed metrics - because what gets measured is what gets attention and energy. We identified metrics that aren't always reflected in dollars, but are precious to quality of life. Get on our list for notice of the next meeting or work party.
